Make your collaborative workflows more efficient and cost-effective.
vjoon K4 Cross-Media Publishing Platform
From
advertising to magazine publishing to digital output, creating and managing content requires a streamlined workflow.
Cross-media workflow: K4 makes it easy to control the production process for a variety of different objects, such as layouts, text files, photos and video, and for a variety of output channels, like print, web, tablets and mobile devices.
Scalability: With its multi-level security controls and
robust customization option, K4 supports
workflow for individual workgroups or entire publishing enterprises.
Usability: K4
offers check-in and checkout of content, simultaneous workflow between
layout and editorial, copy editing to the page, content and layout change
alerting, workflow routing, status tracking, version control and multiple editing modes.
Enterprise technology: K4 v6 is a multi-tier architectural solution, with an application server layer running under Apache Tomcat, a client access layer and a database abstraction layer using JPA/Hibernate.
K4 is compatible with Adobe Creative Suite 4 and higher. It supports three database platforms: MySQL Enterprise Server, Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle.
A set of client APIs offers flexible and comprehensive access to the application server and K4 business logic, allowing the system to be easily integrated with other production or content-management systems. All server-based components of the system are Java applications, which are configured to run on a standard Apache Tomcat server.
